Patagonia - Torres del Paine, Feb. 15-19
Here now the first pictures from the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile:

On the first day on the way to the national park the weather was not all that good, but the scenary was still very impessive!
Camp 1:

Early next morning, start of the first trekking day:

Nature pure

And after about 4 hours of hiking the first highlight of the Torres del Paine National Park: Los Cerros

On day 3 in the park we walked 3 hours to the Grey Glacier which is part of the 3rd biggest ice mass on earth (after Antarctica and Gronland)

Wow:

Nice...

Pisco Sour with Ice form the Grey Glacier... at 11am!

My travel mate Michael "me no complain" (AUS) and myself...

Ice walking in the afternoon:

Day 4 in Paradise... ah, Patagonia:

Early morning, the first view of the Torres del Paine peaks! The weather didn't improve later so thanks to Michael for getting out of the tent early in the moring and taking this picture!

...and thanks to technology for making it possible to have it on my travel page already ;-)
Unfortunately not in the very best weather but still very impressive, the Torres del Paine that gave this park the name!

The 3 Benny Hill's...

And now "Good bye"... next stop will be Fitz Roy Mountain and Moreno Glacier in Argentina!
